GIRLS TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE

USA Hockey has nurtured the growth of female hockey since the 1970s, and today, girls hockey is among the fastest-growing youth sports in the United States. Over the past fifteen seasons, girls hockey in the United States has seen a participation increase of 65%.

The Beloit Youth Hockey Association is just one of thousands of youth hockey associations across the country that team up with USA Hockey to provide days where your child can try hockey for free.

Frequently asked questions

What equipment do I need?

None. We have everything you will need. We recommend bringing your bike helmet if you have one.

What if the participant has no hockey or skating experience?

That's great. We love introducing new players to the sport of hockey. Your athlete will be on the ice with certified coaches and instructors who are there to help players of all abilities and show them how FUN hockey is for everyone.

What if the participant is outside of the 4 to 9 age range?

That is the age recommendation from USA Hockey but we are able to accommodated participants outside of that age range

What is the next step after Try Hockey for Free?

If your child enjoyed their time trying hockey for free, you have the option to register your child for the Learn to Skate program or our Mite programs with BYHA.
